What is BTSD?

Banquet Table School of Discipleship (BTSD) is an online ministry school comprised of four sequential parts, each designed to build upon the previous year. While there is no requirement to complete all four parts, you will receive a certificate for each year. Each stage of the program deepens and expands on the foundations of discipleship and leadership within the body of Christ.

Foundational Pathways

There are 4 main pathways we use to train disciples at BTSD:

Curriculum from Generals of the Faith

We don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, we draw from the wisdom of proven leaders of the faith across various streams to create a comprehensive curriculum that covers many aspects of becoming a disciple and leader. We then build on this foundation with our own teachings, videos, and curriculum.

Assigned Online School Mentor

As part of your discipleship journey, we’ll pair you with a mentor from our 3rd or 4th year of school who will guide you through the curriculum and support your inner healing and deliverance. In the early church, new believers were assigned a "mentor" to help them in their discipleship journey. God established this so his new disciples could develop in a biblically sound way & not bring any mixture of doctrine from their old way of life before accepting Christ. We have adopted this ancient practice & have seen the immense growth that comes with being accountable to someone ahead in school. Having a mentor helps you develop your theology and spiritual gifts, ensuring you grow in a biblically sound way.

Online Zoom Coaching Sessions

As part of your journey as a discipleship student, attending coaching sessions is a key requirement. These sessions led by trained volunteers, focus on deliverance and inner healing. If you decide to enroll in our online school, you will be required to attend at least one coaching session per month in first year and at least 2 coaching sessions per month in your second year. These minimum requirements are to support your personal growth, development, and understanding of being a disciple as you progress through the year. If you decide to continue onwards through the online school past year two, we will give you more information on those requirements then.

Online Zoom Q&A's/Teachings with Senior Leadership

Our final pathway includes scheduled Online Zoom Q&A/Teaching sessions with senior leadership of the school. These sessions provide a class-like setting to ask questions about theology, the curriculum, spiritual gifts, or other topics & teachings we are exploring in that session. We believe that direct access to senior leadership will help accelerate your discipleship journey and deepen your understanding.
